Start at the desk

Thock is a desktop app for macOS and Linux that turns a folder of Markdown files into a guided second brain. Everything begins there: your vault, your routines, and the AI rituals that read your week and append what they find. Thock is in early access; join the waitlist and we send an invite with the download.

Thock Vault on iPhone

Thock Vault is the companion for the moments away from the keyboard: capture an idea, write a line in today's journal, tick off the plan, clip an article for later.

• Try it without a desk. On the first screen, open the practice notebook. It runs a sample vault on the phone so you can see how everything works.
• Use it with your vault. Pairing the phone with your own notes needs the desktop app and Thock Plus. In the desktop app, run thock: connect phone from the command palette (or the Connect phone button in the Backlog panel) and scan the code it shows.
• Nothing arriving? The … menu at the top right shows whether the phone has reached your desk's copy and how many changes are waiting. Changes made on the phone are kept on it until your desktop is awake to apply them.
